Here Are The Characters Available During Dragon Ball FighterZ's Open Beta


Bandai Namco has now given more details on Dragon Ball FighterZ's Open Beta. It starts on January 14  12AM PT / 3AM ET / 4PM UTC+8 and will run at the same time until January 16. The Open Beta is only available on PS4 and Xbox One. 

You won't have full access to the full roster of the game. Eleven Characters are confirmed for the Open Beta and they are Goku, Vegeta, Adult Gohan, Frieza, Kid Buu, Cell, Poccolo, Krillin, Nappa, Android 18, and Beerus.


There will be seven stages available and six features we can tamper with during the Open Beta. Two dramatic scenes are also going to be available and these are iconic scenes from the anime and manga that will trigger if you met certain requirements in a match.

Those that pre-ordered the game will be given a 24-hour head start with the Open Beta on January 13. Pre-orders also grants you access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta in the full game. 

So far, there are a total of 24 characters confirmed for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The recent reveals are new characters in the series: Goku Black, the assassin Hit, and the God of Destruction Beerus. The fighting game will have a Season Pass and it will provide 8 more characters to the game after release. 

Dragon Ball FighterZ was available during last year's ESGS with only a handful of characters available with limited time with the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ hit shelves on January 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
