Starfire, Red Hood, and Sub-Zero Are Coming To Injustice 2 After Launch

Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 1 will include Red Hood, Starfire, and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat as the first DLC characters for the game.

Injustice 2 is coming out on May 16 and NetherRealms is already working on post-content for the game. Teen Titan's Starfire, the Lin Kuei's Sub-Zero, and the infamous villain Red Hood, are currently in development and there are no specific dates given for when they will be released.

I was about to point out how Sub-Zero fighting the likes of Superman and Brainiac was a bit too much, but then again we have folks like Joker or Green Arrow going head to head with such characters. So I'll stop thinking about it too hard. Plus, this isn't the first time a member of the Mortal Kombat universe crossed into DC territory. Scorpion joined the roster as a DLC character for the first Injustice game.

There's no specific price for purchasing Fighter Pack 1 individually, but those that are planning to pick up the Injustice Ultimate Edition ($99.99) will include the first three DLC characters mentioned, and six more unannounced characters planned for the game.

The Digital Delux Edition ($79.99) will include Fighter Pack 1, together with a few skins and an exclusive Gear Shader. It is available on PSN and Xbox Store for pre-order.

Injustice 2 is out May 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
