PlayStation Plus Free Games For December Announced

PlayStation just announced the free games coming to PlayStation Plus members this December and just like previous months, the offers found in North America are different compared to Asia.

North America PSN

For those using a US PSN account you'll be getting Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends on the PS4. But that's not all for those on PlayStation Plus. Based on PlayStation Blog's latest entry,  PS Plus members will get a chance to try out the Monster Hunter World beta on December 9 - 12. Members also have a chance to get the Smite PlayStation Plus Pack for free, a bundle that includes 31 Skins, 20 Gods, and voice packs. The Smite bundle will be available on December 12 and ends on January 9. The PS VR game Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is still available for free until January 2, just in case you haven't picked it up.

Here are the free games for PS3 and PS Vita this December:

  • Syberia Collection PS3
  • Xblaze Lost: Memories, PS3
  • Forma.8, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Wanted Corp, PS Vita

Asia PSN

Asian accounts have a strong lineup of free PS4 games yet again, based on a post by PlayStation they'll be getting PS4 exclusives Ratchet & Clank Reboot and Knack.

It's unclear as to why there is such a big difference in PS Plus offers between both regions, but so far Asian accounts seem to be getting the best offers in 2017, offered triple A titles and even getting an additional free game every now and then. Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition, which is available now for US accounts, was given as an additional free game for Asian accounts during July of this year. God of War III: Remastered was also given as an additional free game during this year's Chinese New Year celebration. Tales of Zestiria was also given for free but that version of the game only had the Chinese translation available.
