Modern Warfare 3 Teased in Playstation Magazine

We all knew it was coming right?

When Electronic Arts' CEO is talking tough about Battlefield 3 versus Call of Duty, he doesn't mean Black Ops. Oh it is indeed on. It has been revealed that Modern Warfare 3 will use the Modern Warfare 2 engine. It is rumored that Modern Warfare 3 will be a prequel starring fan favorite character Ghost.

Voice actor Craig Fairbrass had previously hinted that a Modern Warfare 3 announcement was imminent.

“I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the more iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great,” Fairbrass said during a radio interview.

“And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May,” he added. “I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces, and one is to do with… I can’t say too much.”

Activision has slated it for a November 2011 release date.

New RAGE Gameplay trailer

A five-minute video of RAGE gameplay was released and is called " The Shrouded Bunker Mission". The player is tasked to go in a bunker to blow up a gang's bomb caches stored in a bunker. I think it looks amazing and if you like the Fallout style, you might like this too.

Latest Trailer for Brink

Splash Damage just released a new trailer explaining the types of classes you can be when playing Brink. This game looks amazing and the ability to move around difficult environments is cool but I'm still 50/50 of this game is worth the buy.The game is days away from release and they have been releasing tutorial videos over and over which makes me think this game won't need a game manual.

Brink is being released earlier than expected, it will be out on May 10  for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 3 delayed into 2012

They have just announced that Mass Effect 3 has been delayed and will be released on the first three months of 2012. Most of you will say it's a bad thing yes, but it isn't really.  As a huge fan of the series, I'd rather have a polished third game coming out next year than a rushed project forced out on the holidays.

The announcement was posted in Bioware's Facebook page by Casey Hudson, Executive Producer Mass Effect series and said "The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations."

I'm fine with the delay, it seemed too soon for Mass Effect 3 to be released. When I saw the teaser trailer revealing Holiday 2011 I was excited at the same time worried that Bioware might be rushing it since Mass Effect 2 just came out Jan of 2010, that's a short development time and they were still providing DLC's for the second game. Moving it to 2012 gives them more time and focus to polish and give us an epic close to the Mass Effect series.

Mass Effect 3 is now multi-platform and will be out on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
