Silent Hill: Townfall Announced by No Code and Annapurna Interactive

Konami announced during the Silent Hill Transmission broadcast that they partnered with studio No Code (Stories Untold, Observation) and publisher Annapurna Interactive to deliver a new game called Silent Hill Townfall.

This is a new entry to the series but not much was revealed about the project beyond the teaser trailer released. All we get for now is a mysterious man talking over a walkie-talkie asking “why are you here? Here to be punished.. That’s good. I like it. I think we've done something so awful that we are stuck here in this place being judged by these... people," he says.

Jon McKellan, creative director at No Code expressed that they aim to “respect the source material, but also do something a little bit different with it.”. The studio plans to share more about Silent Hill Townfall next year.

This isn’t the only title announced during the Silent Hill Transmission broadcast as a Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f, a live interactive series called Silent Hill: Ascension, and a new Silent Hill film was announced.
