Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's next DLC gets a trailer

Bravo. The second downloadable content with actual content in them. no costume packs or whatnot, just plan and simple added content for players to play in. The second DLC for Kingdoms of Amalur called Teeth of Naros will include 20 extra side quests(as if there's not enough), new dungeons, new twists of fate, a new city, and more equipment sets and unique weapons. The price? just $9.99. Check out the trailer below.

If you need the urge to expand your Kingdoms of Amalur game, Teeth of Naros will be available for download on April 17 for Playstation 3, Origin for the PC, Steam, and XBL.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Lightning and Master Sergeant Amodar DLC Trailer

Final fantasy XIII-2Pretty sure everybody is going through Final Fantasy XIII-2's main story right now. if your liking it so far then this might excite you. DLC will be present in this Final Fantasy game and Square Enix released a trailer showing its content. It's an extra Coliseum Battle against Lightning himself and Master Sergeant Amodar. If you win the battle, you get Lightning as a playable character.

"Lightning and Master Sergeant Amodar" DLC will be out on February 7 for $2.99.  Three bucks for an extra character? Doesn't sound too bad. The Lightning in the DLC seems to be the Lightning in the first game. I just wished Square would just give players a third character to begin with. Final Fantasy and Pokemon don't mix well for me.

PS3 players will get Battlefield 3 DLC first, Open Beta also announced

Battlefield 3While Xbox 360 players get first access to Call of Duty DLC, Battlefield 3 DLC will be released in the PS3 a week earlier before the Xbox 360. A week isn't so bad compared to Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC getting released on the Xbox 360 a month earlier.

Tommy Rydling, junior product manager for Battlefield 3 announced it on the official Playstation Blog. Whats the first DLC? it's called Back to Karkand and is said to be released sometime this year. The DLC will provide 4 famous maps from Battlefield 2. I was expecting this to happen for the PS3 since Xbox 360 is already all over the Call of Duty franchise, but this 1 week early access is honestly nothing to the 1 month early access in the Xbox 360 for Black Ops. With Modern Warefare 3, I Wouldn't be surprised if they continue releasing DLCs to 360 players a month earlier. This isn't the only news from the post, they also announced that the open beta of Battlefield 3 will be out on the PSN for download. The Open Beta starts on September 29th to October 10th.

If you actually purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor then you can get into the Open Beta a week earlier. So owners of the Limited Edition can test Battlefield 3 on September 27, 2 days earlier.

There will only be one map I believe for the Open Beta, and that will be Operation Metro, the map they always use to show off the multiplayer part of Battlefield 3.

Battlefield 3 will be out on October 25 in NA, 27 for Australia, and 28 for Europe. With Datablitz having pre-orders for Battlefield 3, the game release for the Philippines will be Oct 25.

Fallout: New Vegas has three DLC on the way

Bethesda has revealed three downloadable content for New Vegas, Honest HeartsOld World Blues, and Lonesome Road. The release of the first one is actually close by, Honest Hearts is first up and will be out on May 17.

This makes Fallout: New Vegas having a total of 4 DLC's. Blood Money was the first downloadable content released on December 21, 2010 on the Xbox 360 first. A few months later on February 22, 2011, it was released for PC and PS3 owners. Xbox 360 had that exclusive early release but for the next three DLC, they will all be released simultaneously just like the old days.

Available on May 17, Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah's Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.

In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You’ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.

Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier's story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job –a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.

It will cost us around 800 Microsoft points or $9.99 for each pack of downloadable content. That's $30 worth of new content and I'm tempted to get the first DLC in preparation for the next batch. Looks like I'll be revisiting New Vegas soon. Anybody excited??
