Valorant New Map: Corrode
Corrode is set in a transformed French castle that now serves as a Radianite salt mining facility, and it's also the third map to take place on Omega Earth. As for it’s design with competitive in mind, here’s what you can expect from the new map.
Map highlights:
2 Spike Sites
3-lane layout
Layered defenses and fallback positions
Designed to limit overwhelming ability aggression
Corrode will enter the competitive map pool immediately on release. For the first two weeks, players will lose 50% less RR for losses while still gaining 100% RR for wins when playing on the new map, a move by Riot to encourage players to learn the map through playing it in a competitive space.
Corrode Map Launch Date
