The Invincible Delayed to 2023, but at Least We Get More Gameplay Footage

The PC Gaming Show debuted new gameplay footage of developer Starward Industries’ The Invincible, a sci-fi narrative driven thriller that is now delayed to 2023.

The gameplay demo focuses on highlighting the game’s visuals and how its a slow-paced nature where you explore and uncover the mystery of the missing crew of your spaceship on a planet called Regis III. The game is said to be non-linear as player choice will drive the narrative. It also looks like you play multiple characters as the gameplay demo ends with what looks to be Yasna’s demise.

The narrative of The Invincible is inspired by a novel (also titled The Invincible) by Polish author Stanislaw Lem. The studio working on this game, Starward Industries, is composed of former CD Projekt RED developers and former Techland developers. The Invincible was first revealed back in 2020 and is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It’s now set to launch next year and no date was attached to the game.
