The last time we heard about Tales of Arise was last year when it was delayed indefinitely due to the ongoing pandemic last June. Now, it looks like the team at Bandai is more prepared for the release of Arise with the announcement of a September release date. It was original set for a 2020 release.
This is also the first time we heard of Tales of Arise for the current generation of consoles, as Famitsu reports that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the game will feature a 60 FPS performance mode and a 4K visual mode.
More footage of the game in action was released as well via Famitsu and the video below can give you a clear idea of the gameplay and the new visuals as Tales of Arise will be the first game in the series to be built using Unreal Engine 4, instead of the inhouse engine Bandai Namco has which was used in previous Tales Of titles.
