It looks like Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment will continue to support The Division 2 as the game is getting a new game mode called Countdown, an Expertise progression feature, new gear, weapons, balance changes, and more. The latest PTS patch notes are out for your reading pleasure as it will give you a glimpse at what’s to come for the looter shooter.

The Division 2’s Title Update 6 comes with the Episode 2 DLC, the Technician Specialization, changes to the loot system, the Dark Zone, and more. The update goes live on October 15.

It’s a pity Massive Entertainment can’t seem to make a good story out of what I think is an interesting universe set in the modern world, but as it stands, despite its shortcomings, The Division 2 is one of the best looter shooters out today. If you’re new to the genre, you can’t go wrong here. And for those coming from other looter shooters, you might get a kick out of what they have waiting for you at the end.

Our review of The Division 2 is currently underway and while it’s too soon to provide any kind of impression or feedback, I return from DC with a few tips for new agents entering the game for the first time when it goes live to the public this Friday.

I’ve played the Private Beta, the Technical Beta, and the Open Beta of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. I now have a full grasp at what to expect when the game goes live on March 15. But the sequel’s campaign is a worry, while the endgame content makes me wish it’s the 15th already.

Ubisoft will now give players Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, or Far Cry: Primal for free if you pre-order The Division 2 on PC.

Epic Games was able to strike a deal with Ubisoft to launch The Division 2 on their new online store instead of the biggest one available today - Steam.

Updates are still planned for the orginal game and more details about the sequel will come at this year's E3.
