Capcom has launched a new website that contains just a countdown clock for an announcement of sorts. The countdown has no other detail to give a clue at what it could be but I wouldn’t be surprised that it turns out to be our first look at Street Fighter 6.

Capcom revealed the Street Fighter 35th anniversary logo via Twitter, reminding us of how old the fighting game franchise is and that a possible announcement is coming in 2022.

Capcom has revealed the final character to be added to Street Fighter V and his name is Luke, a kickboxer rocking some MMA-looking gear and is said to be the “key” to the future of the series.

In the latest livestream for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, Capcom revealed our first look at Rival Schools’ Akira and Oro, two new characters coming to the fighting game and is part of the Season 5 pass that also includes Dan and Rose.

Dan, Rose, Oro, and Akira from Rival Schools will be coming to Street Fighter V as part of its fifth and final season.
