Super Robot Wars Y Release: Now Available on Switch, PS5, and PC
/The long-running Super Robot Wars franchise has a new entry. Super Robot Wars Y is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, with a launch trailer released to celebrate its August 28 release.
This new installment features over 20 mecha anime series, including classics like Macross and Aura Battler Dunbine, as well as newer entries such as Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

Super Robot Wars Y will get more series featured in the game in the form of two DLC packs as series like Kamen Rider will make an appearance.
Super Robot Wars Y introduces the Assist Link system, allowing certain characters to join the battlefield as part of the Assist Crew. Players can use Assist Commands to recover HP and EN, boost a unit's attack power and more.
What is Super Robot Wars?
For newcomers, Super Robot Wars is a grid-based strategy RPG that unites characters and mechs from various anime franchises into one crossover storyline. Each game allows players to command iconic mecha in turn-based battles against a shared enemy. The series has been running for decades, with the first Super Robot Wars debuting in 1991 on the Game Boy in Japan.
