Ghost of Yotei is the follow up to Sucker Punch’s successful open world game Ghost of Tsushima, as it tells a completely new story with a different protagonist, set 300 years after the events of the first game. You play as Atsu, who goes through a journey of revenge as she hunts down the Yotei Six, the group responsible for killing her whole family in front of her and leaving her for dead.
During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, a new trailer for the game was revealed, confirming that the game will also feature a new version of Legends, the co-op multiplayer mode that was available in the first game as well.
Ghost of Yotei will only be available on the PS5 and is set to release on October 2. Pre-order bonuses and different editions of the game were also announced.
