Resident Evil Re:Verse Will Have An Open Beta In April
/ Carlos HernandezCapcom announced that Resident Evil Re:Verse, their upcoming multiplayer game, will have an open beta test starting on April April 8, 2 AM EST / April 8 2 PM GMT +8 and will run until Aprill 11, 2 AM EST / April 8 GMT +8. The beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Via Steam).
The details of the open beta can be found on the official Resident Evil website. You’ll need your Capcom ID to be linked to your platform of choice to get ready and be part of the open beta test. The sole purpose of the beta is to test the game’s system, balancing issues, and possible server concerns.
Those that were part of the closed beta for Re:verse and still have it in their system will not require to re-download the game to participate in the open beta.
Players planning to try out the test on the PS5 will be playing the PS4 version while the Xbox Series X|S owners will be playing the Xbox One version of Re:Verse.
Resident Evil Re:Verse is Capcom’s latest attempt at a multiplayer titled based on the Resident Evil universe. It’s a third-person shooter that will feature iconic characters from the series, each with their own set of skills and loadouts. The game can accommodate players of up to six players in a given match.
Resident Evil Re:Verse was announced during the Resident Evil online showcase that debuted back in January. Those who purchase Resident Evil Village will be able to play Resident Evil Re:Verse for free as it’s set to launch together with Village on May 7, 2021.
