Capcom just announced the release date for the PC version of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. It will be available on Steam on January 9, 2020. We found out about this after playing the first and only expansion at ESGS 2019 and I’m excited to hunt once again.

The PC port of Monster Hunter World will feature Ultra-wide support, 4k resolution, and uncapped FPS, Direct X12 support, a high resolution texture package, and improved mouse and keyboard support.

Granted, I played the PS4 version of Iceborne at the Capcom booth but my time with the expansion was enough to remind me how challenging this game can be to master hunting the new and old monsters in Master Rank, the latest difficulty tier in the expansion. With Iceborne heading to PC next year, replaying the game on another platform sounds like a good good option now as it won’t be behind its console brother.

The first bit of DLC that hit Monster Hunter Iceborne — which features the horned ape Rajang — will launch sometime after the PC version launches next year.
