Mistfall Hunter Beta 3 Goes Live – New Class, Boss, and Features Revealed
/Developer Bellring Games is working on a new online action RPG extraction game called Mistfall Hunter, and its third beta session goes live on Steam today, September 16, 2025, at 01:00 UTC. Servers will be deployed in China, the US, Germany, and Japan.
What to Expect from the Mistfall Hunter Beta 3
This beta introduces new content, systems, and improvements compared to previous sessions. Here’s what players can look forward to:
The Camp – A New Hub for Preparation, Lore, and Connection: The Camp is now the first place Gyldhunters see when they enter the world. This explorable hub area blends quiet moments of preparation with new layers of storytelling. Here, you’ll meet Dew, the mysterious goddess who guides your journey, and interact with new NPCs that offer quests, gear upgrades, auctions, and essential services. Invite friends, form parties, and strategize before calling upon Soekja to summon the boat that will carry you into the Gyldenmist.
New Class Path, Blasphemer Seers: The once-divine Seers now splinter. While some remain faithful, others walk a new path. Blasphemer Seers reject the Goddess of Light and channel their suffering into brutal close-quarters combat. Wielding maces infused with elemental devastation, they unleash a Special State that fuels explosive burst damage and savage flanking strikes. It’s a violent rebuke of divinity—and a deadly asset in the right hands.
New Boss: General Harald: Prepare for an unforgettable boss encounter – General Harald, former hero of Brandrgarde. Once a revered commander, his soul was lost in a desperate experiment to stop the Gyldenmist. Now, twisted by madness and power, Harald guards the ruins as a relentless executioner. Only the most fearless Gyldhunters will survive him—and claim the treasures he protects.
Playable Female Characters + Customization Debut: The female versions of all five core classes—Sorcerer, Black Arrow, Shadowstrix, Mercenary, and Seer—are now fully playable. Alongside this long-awaited feature, BETA 3 introduces the first wave of character customization, giving players more freedom to define their identity in the Age of Corrosion.
Expanded Extraction Options: Beyond looting the Soul of Return from the Returner Woodling, Gyldhunters can now use fixed exits for extraction, each with unique constraints. Adapt your strategy and choose the best escape route for every hunt.
Refined Stamina System: The Stamina System has been reworked to better balance fast-paced action with tactical depth. Penalties have been eased with a shorter Weakened duration, faster recovery, uninterrupted regeneration under attack, keeping combat fluid while preserving its strategic edge.
Mistfall Hunter’s Gameplay Loop
Mistfall Hunter blends action RPG gameplay with extraction mechanics, where players must loot valuable items while surviving both PvE monstrosities and rival Gyldhunters. The risk is high, as other players can kill you and take everything you’ve collected. If you’ve played extraction shooters like Escape from Tarkov or Dark and Darker, you’ll recognize the tense, high-stakes gameplay loop.
Mistfall Hunter is aiming to release not only on Steam but on Xbox and the Microsoft Store.
