Marvel’s Wolverine Gameplay Revealed, Launching Fall 2026
/The September 2025 State of Play from Sony wrapped up with our first gameplay look at Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine, and it’s far bloodier and more brutal compared to their Spider-Man titles.
From this trailer alone, the contrast between Insomniac’s previous work and Wolverine is clear. The tone is violent, which fits naturally with Logan as the main focus. The reveal also confirmed a few familiar faces, including Omega Red and Mystique, along with glimpses of well-known Marvel locations such as Madripoor.
Wolverine will be voiced by Liam McIntyre, best known for his role in Spartacus. In the Behind the Claws video released alongside the gameplay trailer, Insomniac shared that their goal is to deliver the best Wolverine game ever made. For now, the first showing makes a strong impression as i’m rather intrigued by what was shown, especially with that small tease of Wolverine battling a Sentinel.
The developers are planning to show more of Marvel’s Wolverine sometime in Spring 2026.
