Together with the launch, the card game that’s based on the world of League of Legends will be updated with over 120 new cards, placing the total card count of this new title to over 400 cards.
Open beta players who continue to play the game and build their card collection will keep their progression once the game game officially launches worldwide. No account wipe is planned.
To celebrate the launch, as a thank you to the players that login to play the game before May 7 will receive an exclusive Moonstruck Proto Guardian for their collection.
Legends of Runeterra went to open beta this year but only in select regions like the US, with Singapore being the only SEA country to have experienced the game in the mobile platform.
Riot Games is venturing into various uncharted territories with the release of Legends of Runeterra, their first online card game and Valorant, which is now in closed beta and is their first FPS title as well.
For those unfamiliar, Legends of Runeterra is an online card game similar to games like Magic: The Gathering Arena, Hearthstone, but has a unique take in gameplay that fits the League of Legends universe.
