ArenaNet celebrated Guild Wars 2’s eighth anniversary with a livestream detailing the latest on the MMORPG and they ended the show by revealing a teaser of the third expansion called End of Dragons.

The teaser was short but revealed that players will be heading back to Cantha, a beloved location in the Guild Wars world which was first introduced in the first game. The expansion’s title highly suggests the story revolving around the remaining dragons in the Guild Wars 2 story line and it makes sense as the current Living Story content is going through the Icebrood Saga, which revolves around the Elder Dragon Jormag.

End of Dragons is set to come out in 2021 and that’s all the information about the next big content dump for Guild Wars 2.

In the Anniversary stream, ArenaNet also announced that Guild Wars 2 is heading to Steam this November. Since it’s release back in 2012, the MMORPG was only accesible through the game’s launcher through ArenaNet and has finally expanded to Steam which will offer the expansions Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire.
