Final Fantasy VII Remake, One of the most requested game to get the remake treatment, just surpassed 3.5 million in sales. and that’s just based on data in the first 3 days since its April 10 release.
We are not surprised at all.
Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is considered the first of many games in Square’s remake project, is set solely on Midgar, a bustling city fueled by Mako, which is the lifeblood of the planet in this JRPG world.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was first revealed in 2015 and Square Enix treated the development of the remake as if it’s just another Final Fantasy numbered title, complete with triple A production and support from Square Enix.
Based on the reception from the critics, and from fans that have played the game so far, this remake was given high praise overall for a variety of reasons and could be the new benchmark when it comes to remaking beloved classics for modern platforms.
