Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Digital Price Drops by Up to 60% Across Southeast Asia on November 12

Sega announced that they’ll be reducing the overall price of Atlus’ JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio by as much as 60% across Southeast Asian regions. This affects all digital storefronts, including the PlayStation Store (PS5 and PS4), Xbox Store, and Steam.

Starting November 12, the game will be significantly cheaper for players in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Here’s how much the JRPG will cost in each region:

  • Philippines: PHP 1,068.00 (was PHP 2,895.00)

  • Malaysia: MYR 86.00 (was MYR 249.00)

  • Singapore: SGD 39.90 (was SGD 69.90)

  • Indonesia: IDR 299,000 (was IDR 799,000)

  • Thailand: THB 668 (was THB 1,890)

  • Vietnam: VND 470,000 (was VND 1,264,000)

This price adjustment coincides with Metaphor: ReFantazio releasing on the Switch 2 on November 12.

Metaphor: ReFantazio was my Game of the Year back in 2024, and it remains my favorite title from the team at Atlus. If you want a JRPG with a high-fantasy setting that embraces Persona elements, a great turn-based combat system, and a lengthy, rich story with a cast of characters that gradually grows on you, you might be surprised by this gem of a game.

For the price to drop this low permanently is a steal, especially when the game can easily take 100 hours to complete.
