Dead Space Remake Gameplay To Be Revealed This Week

Thanks to fans solving a puzzle released by developer Motive, we now know that we’ll be getting the first official look at gameplay of the survivor horror remake Dead Space, which is set to come out early next year.

Based on the teaser video found, Motive will be releasing the remake’s first official look at gameplay on October 4.

It first started with a tweet by Motive with a picture of an incomplete symbol with the caption “Make us Whole”. Naturally, fans were on the case the moment it was posted. It was then revealed that the full picture was a QR code that led to an Instagram page called The Bench

This page currently contains twelve posts showing twelve nodes, with the first one unlocked revealing a stories video showing the teaser, which reveals that a Dead Space remake gameplay revealed will debut on October 4. Courtesy of Mp1st, you can watch the teaser video below.

Looking back at the Instagram page, with eleven nodes still locked, more will likely be revealed as we get closer to the Dead Space remake launch date, which is currently set for January 27, 2023.

Technically, gameplay footage of the remake in action is out in the wild but in an unpolished state. Dead Space devs Motive have been transparent this year by showing fans through a livestream their progress so far with the project and their approach to designing and developing this remake from the ground up. The gameplay reveal set for this week will be the official first look on what to expect when the game launches next year.

The Dead Space remake is set to launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
