Developer Motive’s remake of the first Dead Space game will not only feature a modernized version of the classic sci-fi horror game that was released back in 2008, but it will also feature an alternate ending.

Thanks to fans solving a puzzle released by developer EA Motive, we now know that we’ll be getting the first official look at gameplay of the survivor horror remake Dead Space, which is set to come out early next year.

In a recent developer livestream from EA Motive, the developer revealed that the upcoming Dead Space remake will release on January 27, 2023.

During a Twitch livestream presentation, EA Motive announced that protagonist Isaac Clarke in the Dead Space remake will talk and will be portrayed by Gunner Wright, the original voice actor of Isaac in Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3.

EA announced during their EA Play Showcase that a Dead Space remake is indeed happening and is being developed over at EA Motive, the developers that brought us Star Wars: Squadrons. A short teaser was presented, giving us a glimpse of the horror only Dead Space can deliver and towards the end a small glimpse of Isaac Clarke.

EA and developer Motive Studios announced that there will be two free content updates coming to Star Wars: Squadrons. The first one arrives on November 25 while the second will launch sometime in December.

"We created this game for every Star Wars fan who has ever dreamt about soaring across the galaxy in their favorite starfighter," Motive Studios creative director Ian Frazier said in a press statement.
