Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for June 14 - June 20, 2023

This week, Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets features Bite the Bullet, Unbreakable, Hex: Ruin, and Tinkerer. Here’s a quick detailed rundown of each perk from June 14 - June 20, 2023, as this update comes alongside the release of the new End Transmission Chapter.

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for June 14 - June 20, 2023

This section in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight allows players to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them, or have not yet earned the highest tier.

Choose carefully if you don’t have many shards available during this time as 2,000 shards are hard to earn, especially for new players from either side.

Killer Perks

Hex: Ruin (The Hag) - This hex will be available when match starts and affects all Generator repair progress.

Whenever a Generator is not being repaired by a Survivor, it will automatically regress its repair progress at 50/75/100% of the normal regression speed.

When a Survivor is killed by any means, Hex: Ruin deactivates.

Tinkerer (The Hillbilly) - Whenever a Generator is repaired to 70%, a loud noise notification will trigger for the Killer and earns the Undetectable status for the next 12/14/16 seconds.

Survivor Perks

Bite the Bullet (Leon S. Kennedy) - When healing yourself or another Survivor, any noises created by the healing action are suppressed. If you fail a skill check while healing, you won’t trigger a noise notification for the Killer and the regression penalty will only be 3/2/1%.

Unbreakable (Bill Overbeck) - You can recover from the Dying State once per match. Recovery speed while in the Dying State is also increased by 25/30/35%.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

This week is new Chapter release week, and also a decent offering for new players of the game.

It’s unlikely that newcomers in Dead by Daylight are giving The Hillbilly some game time so picking up the Tinkerer isn’t a bad choice for them considering this perk is still valuable at the hands of Killers that can quickly navigate around the map or disrupt repairs from afar.

Hex: Ruin has seen better days as you see fewer Killers run this perk for generator regression. It’s still easy to counter so this needs a secondary perk to support it or you’ll need to pay close attention to where it is and defend it so it can give you the most value before going out.

As for Survivors, Bite the Bullet can be useful if paired with a Med-Kit as you can stay more hidden from the Killer but Undetectable is worth the pickup as it is still one of the few perks in the game that can change the outcome of a match. Just don’t be too obvious with it as Killers still expect this perk to be in your loadouts.

Dead by Daylight is now updated with the new sci-fi-themed End of Transmission Chapter , adding the new Survivor Gabriel Soma, the Killer The Singularity, and a new map called Toba Landing that’s literally out of this world.
