Killer Perks

Gearhead (The Deathslinger) - After a Survivor loses a Health State, this perk activates for 30 seconds.

When the perk is active, any Survivor getting a Good Skill Check when repairing a Generator will have their aura revealed to the Killer for 6/7/8 seconds.

Barbecue & Chili (The Cannibal) - After hooking a Survivor, this perk will reveal all other Survivors who are at least 60/560/40 meters away from the hook you just used for 4 seconds.

Survivor Perks

Detective’s Hunch (David Tapp) - Each time a Generator is completed, the Auras of any Generators, Chests, and Totems within 32/48/64 meters are revealed to you for 10 seconds.

When holding a map item, any objects revealed by this perk will automatically be tracked by it.

Dance with Me (Kate Denson) - When performing a rushed action to vault a Window, Pallet, or leave a locker, you won’t leave any scratch marks for the next 3 seconds.

This perk has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

This week’s Shrine offering isn't so bad for either side. Killers who have not yet unlocked Barbecue & Chili should do so as it still remains one of the best perks to keep track of other survivors, giving you an idea of where to go once you’ve hooked a Survivor.

The new Gearhead is also on the menu. This perk is definitely better than what it was previously but still struggles to find a place in a Killer’s builds since there are so many that can be just as effective in giving the player key information. Like Barbecue & Chili, which is something you can trigger yourself.

As for Survivors, Dance with Me is a great perk as you’ll be surprised how many times 3 seconds of no scratch marks can confuse a Killer when done properly. Pair it up with Lithe at the right time and watch yourself get a good amount of distance to even drop a chase.

Lastly, we have Detective’s Hunch, a great perk if you find yourself constantly going against Killers with Totem builds. If totems are too much of a problem, this perk will greatly give you a bigger chance at negating their effects early in the match.
