Borderlands 4 Pre-Orders Now Live – Editions, Bonuses, and Post-Launch Content Detailed
/2K Games and Gearbox Software have revealed that pre-orders for their looter shooter Borderlands 4 have gone live and have given details on the different editions plus the post-launch content that will drop for the game after its September launch.
Borderlands 4 Editions Breakdown
There will be three versions of Borderlands 4, with the Standard Edition priced at $69.99.
Borderlands 4 Editions Details
Deluxe Edition ($99.99)
The Deluxe Edition includes the Bounty Pack Bundle, which grants access to four post-launch DLC packs. Each DLC will feature new areas, missions, and unique bosses. The bundle also adds four Vault Cards offering exclusive challenges and rewards, plus new gear, weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics.
It’s the usual package on paper, but some of the details remain vague, so whether it’s worth the upgrade will depend on how Gearbox fleshes things out before launch, which is a steep price already.
The Deluxe Edition also includes the Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin.
Super Deluxe Edition ($129.99)
The Super Deluxe Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition, plus two major content packs:
Vault Hunter Pack
2 new playable Vault Hunters
New story missions and side quests
2 new map regions
Additional gear, weapons, and cosmetics
Ornate Order Pack
4 Vault Hunter skins
4 Vault Hunter heads
4 Vault Hunter bodies
While the Ornate Order Pack focuses on cosmetics, the Vault Hunter Pack adds even more post-launch content. This means that even Deluxe Edition buyers will need to spend more to access more of what Gearbox is planning post-launch.
Borderlands 4 Pre-order Bonus
Pre-ordering any edition of the game will unlock the Gilded Glory Pack, which includes:
1 weapon skin
1 Vault Hunter skin
1 Echo-4 drone skin
Borderlands 4 is set to release on September 12 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The looter shooter will also launch on the nearly launched Switch 2 later this year.
Despite some lingering quirks, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a solid reintroduction to one of the most influential RPGs of its era. Virtuos and Bethesda have delivered a remaster that respects the original while adding just enough polish to make it worth playing in 2025.
