Rainbow Six: Siege Will Be Free To Play This Weeekend on PC and Xbox One

Ubisoft is giving folks a chance to try out the latest entry in the Rainbow Six franchise this weekend on Steam and Xbox One. It's fun! We promise! 

The long weekend promotion started on July 28 at 1:00pm EDT/5pm GMT/ 6PM BST on PC, and should be available on Xbox One. PC players have until 1:00PM EDT/5PM GMT/ 6PM BST on Monday, August 1 to try out.  Xbox One players on the other hand have until 3AM EDT / 7AM GMT / 8AM BST on the same day.

For PC players to get started, all you gotta do is head to your Uplay and clock on the Rainbow Six "Free Weekend" banner. Xbox One owners, head to the game store and start that download. The download will set your space back by 24.18GB on the Xbox One, while the PC is at 21.6GB on Steam.

Recently, Ubisoft gave the community a glimpse of the next upcoming update to Rainbow Six: Siege that will add two new operators and a new map. The update is called Operation Skull Rain and the full reveal of the new operators and the new map will take place during the Xbox One pro league finals on Saturday, July 30 at 3AM CET/7pm PST.
