What Duke Nukem Forever tried to be

I'm guessing most of you have at least tried out Duke Nukem Forever and either hated it instantly with a vengance or tried to like it but to no avail. I'm going to show you a video fo what Duke Nukem Forever should have been.

I'd argue that Duke Nukem Forever isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It just tried so hard to be something that no one would like in this day and age. They exaggerated to humor to idiot extremes and the shooting was mediocre at best.

This is a mod of the infamous Duke Nukem 3D, a Duke Nukem game we all know and love. If you want to go back and play Duke Nukem 3D and relive your gun shooting, alien killing, ass kicking, and gm chewing, then this is the way to go.

Leaked info on supposed WoW expansion

So, here's some "news" on the world's best-selling MMORPG franchise...

Yes, I'll admit it. Though I've already quit WoW (about 4 times now), I still like to read up on the updates... I guess there's just that part of me that still wants to play, but I just can't find a good enough reason to do so. So when I saw a Facebook post from WoWhead, talking about the supposed "leaked" info on the new expansion, I just had to click the link.

Short summary:

1. Raised level cap from 85 to 90

2. New Horde race: Naga

3. New Alliance race: Etherial

4. New starting zones for both races (1-10): Deadwind Pass for Alliance and Coralbreach for Horde.

5. Game moves back to Outlands

6. Main antagonists: The Burning Legion

7. Four new "planets"/ Outland zones

Whether or not this is true or not remains to be seen, but it's still a pretty fun read.

Weekend, what are you playing?

July has officially started and what better way to kick off the first weekend of the month by playing some video games! What are you playing? Oh, and happy 4th of July to all you people over there in the United States of America! Have a good one guys.

Migoy: As I said in one of my more recent post, spending some time playing Mega Man Powered Up. I got all the robot masters and I'm currently in Wily stage 3, the room with the teleporters that bring me to clones of the robot masters. I gotta say it's pretty touch fighting them all in a row, even with all their powers. Maybe I'll try an MMO or two this weekend just for shits and giggles.

Quash: This weekend its Red Dead Redemption for me. Since they announced a bonus XP weekend for multiplayer, I'm taking this chance to reach max level . I'm 3 trophies away from getting the Platinum and reaching max level is one of them. Also playing the Uncharted 3 beta which is turning out to be a good one. Will make an impression post of the beta's pros and cons soon.

Arlie: I'm playing Red Dead Redemption since it's x4 XP weekend that will end on Monday because it's a holiday. On the first day, I managed to reach the max level for multiplayer which is 50, I'm currently at 1st Legendary Level 30. Same with Quash, I also play Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta.

Minecraft is at 1.7

Haven't visited your Minecraft world lately? Got bored making random things? No reason to boot up your world? Well now you do. Team Mojang has now updated Minecraft to 1.7 and now we have pistons!

Pistons may not sound like much to you at a glance, especially with how simple it looks but people have already done some incredibly creative things with it. My favorite is the transforming entrance.
