Shoot Dragons With Guns In The Borderlands Spinoff Game Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Gearbox Software has announced Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands at the Summer Games Fest Kickoff livestream event, which is a Borderlands spinoff fantasy-based shooter coming to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in early 2022.

Tiny Tina is one of the stand out characters in the Borderlands series and when it was confirmed that Gearbox Software is making a game with her in the center of it all, it just made a lot of sense in my head that Gearbox would start with her to expand their beloved franchise even more.

On the trailer alone, the art style, tone, and absurd humor screams Borderlands so it’s hard for me to see the exact different with the trailer alone. But thankfully we know a little bit more as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands in has a fantasy setting and players will be able to build, customize, and choose what class you will like to play. It’s still Borderlands as it will still be you shooting lots of guns, you’ll just be facing fantasy creatures like dragons.

For Tiny Tina’s role in all of this, she’s the master of and can change the world and setting at will, which greatly resembles Borderlands 2’s DLC called Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep where players play a game of Bunkers and Badasses, Pandora’s D&D equivalent of D&D.

The game has some well known actors in their cast of voice actors as not only to they have Ashly Burch returning to lend her voice for Tiny Tina, she will be accompanied by Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) playing as “heastrong captain” Valentine, Wanda Sykes (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as the “rule-obssessed robot” Frette , and Will Arnett who will voice the Dragon Lord.

You can play the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands campaign alone or with up to 3-players and is said to have endgame content to keep players entertained after they finish the game.
