Evil West Will Have 2-Player Online Co-op at Launch

Developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Focus Entertainment released a new trailer for their third-person action game Evil West focusing on the game’s 2-player online co-op mode that will be available when the game launches on November 22, 2022.

The game is primarily designed for a solo experience but can also be played with. The experience will be the same as the combat will be adjusted to accommodate two vampire hunters working in tandem.

Both players in co-op will play as the protagonist Jesse and the host that starts the co-op session will progress the story. That means that if you’re not the host of the co-op session, you won’t progress in the story. It’s not clear if that includes any character progression earned while playing in co-op.

Pre-orders for Evil West is now available and those that secure a copy early will be given the Wild Wild East skin pack, which contains the Golden Defender Outfit for Jesse and golden skins for his arsenal of weapons

The game has a unique package called the Signature Edition and is a Focus Entertainment Store exclusive, as copies of this package will only be limited to 50 copies worldwide. This edition includes an exclusive artwork by artist Gabz as numbered laminated wooden frame that comes with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by the artist, and a physical copy of the game using Gabz’s artwork as the box art, plus the Wild Wild East Skin pack mentioned above.

Evil West will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xobx Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
