Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for May 10 - May 16 2023

This week, Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets features again two of the latest perks from Tools of Torment. Perks are Bloodrush, Streetwise, THWACK!, and Fire Up. Here’s a quick detailed rundown of each perk from May 10 - May 16, 2023.

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for May 10 - May 16, 2023

This section in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight allows players to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable for them, or have not yet earned the highest tier.

Choose carefully if you don’t have many shards available during this time as 2,000 shards are hard to earn, especially for new players from either side.

Killer Perks

THWACK! (The Skull Merchant) - After hooking a Survivor, this perk activates. The next time you break a breakable wall or a pallet, all Survivors within 28/30/32 meters of your location will scream and reveal their aura for 4 seconds.

Fire Up (The Nightmare) - Each Generator completed in a Trial will result in this perk earning 1 token, up to a maximum of 5.

Each token applies a stackable buff of 3/3.5/4% per token (max of 15/17.5/20%) on picking up and dropping Survivors, breaking breakable walls and pallets, kicking Generators, and vaulting windows.

Survivor Perks

Bloodrush (Renato Lyra) - Once you are one hook away from death, this perk activates. Press your ability button to lose a Heath State and instantly recover from the Exhaused status. Activating the perk will trigger the Broken Status for 28/24/20 seconds.

Blood Rush will then be activated for the rest of the trial.

Streetwise (Nea Karlsson) - This perk increases the efficiency of your held items by 15/20/25%.

The perk also shares its effect with all other nearby Survivors within 8 meters of your location and lingers for 15 seconds after they leave the radius.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

Another week, another chance to earn/upgrade perks from the Tools of Torment chapter.

Survivors could have fun with the new Bloodrush as it’s mainly a last-ditch effort for late game for some crazy plays that involve you saving a fellow Survivor or getting out of the Trial alive. You are simply given two chances to use your preferred exhaustion perk at the host of a health state. So that’s two Dead Hards or two Lithe.

The other Survivor perk Streetwise just makes your team’s items last longer, which is great if you’re planning on mainly fixing the Generators as this would go well with Prove Thy Self, a toolbox, and a friend with a toolbox of his own.

For Killers, we have the new THWACK! perk and serves as another option to gain information while clearing obstacles in a Trial. It works similarly to the Nowhere to Hide perk but for pallets and breakable walls.

Lastly, we have Fire Up, a personal favorite as it just makes you a more effective killer the longer the Trial lasts. Pair this up with other endgame perks that prolonged the match and you might just turn the whole game into a win.
