The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword reviews are in

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Wii's biggest and only game is days away and the reviews started showing up in most sites. What the result?? yet another Zelda game worth playing it seems. Here's a round-up of all the reviews out now.

EDGE - 10/10

1UP - B+

G4 - 4/5

Gameinformer - 10/10

Gamepro - 4/5

IGN - 10/10

Joystiq - 4.5/5

Cheat Code Central - 5.0

GamesRadar - 9/10

Videogamer - 10/10

Wired - 10/10

Will update any more reviews, but so far the game is looking to be worth a buy as expected. Regardless of you required to swing your controller around your room, it seems like it brings minor issues to the table while playing. While watching some of the game reviews, it made me realize how amazing the game looks. It's definitely the best looking game you'll get out of the Wii. Last time a game looked this gorgeous was Mario Galaxy 2. With the Nintendo Wii's limitations in the graphics department, I'm surprised that up until now they we're able to squeeze out some amazing visuals.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Skyview Temple Trailer [Update: Opening Cinematic]

fly In this new trailer we get a glimpse of what we might expect in our dungeon crawling adventures in the upcoming new Zelda title and it's looking really nice.

Grrrhh!! Words cannot express how much I want this game right now. The game just looks so good and you hear those music ques when striking enemies? Wind Waker much? I LOVE IT!

Ok, now Nintendo's just being an ultimate tease. I completely agree with the top comment on this video.

"y u no realease it now ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)"

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Opening and Romance Trailer

juuump I want this game so bad. This has got to be some of the best Zelda trailers I've ever seen. The music also adds to the tingling I feel inside. This game will truly be an epic adventure. And is that blonde girl really Zelda?

If that is Zelda then Link better get some at the end of the game.

Dragon Quest X revealed for Wii and Wii U

Square Enix revealed this for the Wii years ago but never came to light. Now their revealing it again but this time with an online focus.  It will be out for the Wii and Wii U next year and will be called Dragon Quest X Online Yes, the latest installment which makes the Dragon Quest series reach double digits will be in a form of an MMO. It is still not certain what type of MMO it will be. Will it be the traditional MMORPGs? or just a small group similar to Monster Hunter Online(only released in Japan). Regardless of how this game will be, Andriasang mentions that the Dragon Quest X Online website contains a TBA on "usage fee".  Still not officially confirmed but knowing how this goes, it will have the traditional monthly fees aside from the initial purchase of the game.

Dragon Quest X Online will have Wii and Wii U compatibility so players can play with each other no matter what version they decide to pick up. Of course, Wii U will have an advantage since it will have improved graphics. 3DS compatibility was also mentioned but not confirmed at the moment.

In regards to gameplay, the only info out is that players may craft weapons and own their own property. They will also include a feature that makes players use their friend's character as an NPC when their offline. That's it so far.

Level-5 developed the last 2 games but so far only Square Enix was mentioned in this project.

The game is set for a 2012 release and since its also developed for the Wii U, a release date of Dragon Quest X Online should be around the time of the Wii U release. That's a long way from now. So fans of the series don't hold you breath waiting for this one. They also mentioned a beta before release.

Trailer is now up on YouTube together with a lengthy presentation of the game. You can't understand a single thing, but you get to see the game in action.

Weekend, what are you playing?

Wake me up when September ends... HELLZ NO! video games, front and center! What are you playing?

Migoy: Most of my Saturday was spent being out at an event at Robinsons Ermita and then having a Good Burger run after with some friends after. But I had WoL (my PSP3000) with me and in it I have Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team to go with my current Super Saiyan craze. Perhaps you could catch me playing it on the feed or maybe I'll dive into an older Tenkaichi title on the Wii for some Ki blasting goodness.

Arlie: I've been playing Demon's Souls this week. I still don't get the Black/White World Tendency System, and I'm having trouble finding Scirvir on Stonefang Tunnel 2-2 on White World Tendency. I also received my early access PS3 beta key for Assassin's Creed: Revelations Multiplayer that I've been waiting for yesterday, almost 2.8GB of download + 150MB patch.

Quash: Playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game's awesome and I've been playing it non-stop. Aside from the sneaking, hacking, fail firefights, and the constant reading of people's emails,I'm having loads of fun exploring the world of Deus Ex. I can already see myself finding a copy of the first Deus Ex.

I also tried the Resistance 3 multiplayer beta and didn't like it that much. I was never into the Resistance series. Wonder how long Resistance 3 multiplayer will last when Battlefield 3 and MW3 comes out?
