Pokemon Black and White 2 Animated Trailer

legendary doofymons If you've played the first Pokemon Black/White then you'd recognize some of the characters in this trailer. From the looks of this it really does seem like a direct sequel.

The kiddies from the previous game have grown up a bit and are battling a new group of foes. I don't understand Japanese plus I haven't finished the previous game either so I don't really know what the hell is going on so forgive my ignorance when it comes to Pokemon lore. A first direct sequel to a Pokemon game is cool and all but after seeing this trailer I gotta to say that I'd rather just have be a full length animated movie instead of a game. Though the best scenario would be to release the games AND make a full length movie with the same quality animation as seen in the video below.

Pokemo~ I mean Crystal Monsters!... Wait, what?

Gameloft is a studio that is known for making a lot of games for mobile devices. The inspiration for most of their titles can be a bit.. questionable at times (most of the time) but they do release some quality titles.

Here we have one of their games that was released on July 10, 2010. Look Familiar?

From the Gameloft site:

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who can see monsters - called Neo-Seeds - and those who can’t. Neo-Seeds wield extraordinary power and battle using tamed monsters in grand tournaments. As a young Neo-Seed who just discovered his ability, it is time for you to set off on a fantastic adventure to become the greastest Monster Breeder. Travel across the world on a quest to uncover the secret of the Final Monsters as you capture, breed and train your own team of powerful creatures to best your opponents in dangerous monster battles.

After seeing this, I have lost all faith in Gameloft.

Weekend is over, what have you been playing?

"In case you were wondering, that's not us"

The weekend is over and I'm sure that it was the peak of gaming time for most of us. I spent my weekend over at my cousins' place and played a bunch of Wii games. Flailing and hilarity ensued for hours. I have also indulged in some more Pokemon White action as well as a bit off frantic dueling action in Dissidia 012 Duodecim.

What have you been playing this past Saturday and Sunday? Any interesting stories from your world saving adventures?

Locked in a rival battle: Pokemon Black and White

I don't know what it is exactly that makes me hit the replay button over and over and over again. I actually find it annoying sometimes when my rivals Cheren and Bianca just appear out of nowhere and block me especially when my Pokemon aren't at their best but when the music hits, my spirits get raised and I just up and kick their ass every single time.

If you haven't played Pokemon Black and White you probably won't appreciate it in the same light as I do but for those who have played it and those who still are playing it, you all know what I'm talking about.
