Battlefield 2042 open beta begins on October 6 for those that preordered the game and is an EA Play member. The beta will then be available to all players from various platforms starting on October 8 and will run until October 9, 2021.
Tales of Arise Review - Worlds Apart
A few issues can be found in Tales of Arise, but they weren’t enough to taint my time with the game, as this is easily one of the best JPRGs I’ve played in years. What we have here is a game that puts the franchise in a new spotlight at the start of a new generation of consoles, reminding us that the Tales Of series is alive and in good hands.
PlayStation Plus 2021 October games reportedly leaked
It looks like the PS Plus free games for October 2021 have been leaked by the same source that correctly leaked September’s lineup. If it comes out true, subscribers will get Hell Let Loose (PS5), Mortal Kombat X (PS4) and PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4) on October 5.
Everything Square Enix announced during the September Nintendo Direct
Square Enix had a lot to show during the September 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation from a new look at strategy RPG Triangle Strategy, racing game Chocobo GP, and a remaster of the 2D action platformer classic Actraiser Renaissance.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion announced
Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise will receive an expansion called Sunbreak and it’s planned to be released in summer of 2022. The reveal was made during Nintendo’s September 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation.
Nintendo Switch Online expansion pack announced, adds N64 and SEGA Genesis games
During the Nintendo Direct for September 2021, Nintendo announced an additional service for it’s Nintendo Switch Online membership. It’s called the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack and it’s a new membership tier that gives members access to selected Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games. It’s set to launch sometime in late October of this year.
Bayonetta 3 out in 2022, first gameplay trailer revealed
Platinum Games has finally revealed new footage of Bayonetta 3 with a new gameplay trailer during the September 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation. It is also confirmed that it will be coming to the Switch sometime next year.

Tails of Iron is a new action-adventure RPG that was recently released on multiple platforms, and the game’s story is narrated by the voice actor of Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher game series. It’s complete with the Geralt raspy voice that will be instantly recognizable to any Witcher fan the moment they hear the narration.
Fans are not happy with Sega’s new mobile RPG
Sega released a teaser for a new RPG that will be fully revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The video was less than two-minutes long and didn’t really show much about the game, but the mere fact that this new RPG is only for mobile devices was enough for the teaser to have four times as many dislikes compared to likes on YouTube.
