Ubisoft Forward Focused On Skull and Bones Is This Week

Ubisoft confirmed that their next livestream presentation showcasing their upcoming games is scheduled to go live this week, July 7 to give viewers a new look at their online pirate game Skull and Bones.

This will likely be considered as a reintroduction for the online pirate game as the last official reveal or showcase on the game was back in 2018. Looking back at a report from Gameindustry.biz on Ubisoft February 2022 financial call, it mentions Ubisoft CFO Frédérick Duguet confirming that the release of Skull and Bones is “going well” and to expect it in the next fiscal year, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if we get a release date for the game, and maybe a beta of some sort to test the game’s multiplayer.

The Skull and Bones event will go live on July 7 at 8:00PM CEST / 11:00AM PT. The broadcast can be viewed on either the company’s YouTube channel, Twitch, and Ubisoft’s official website.

The company also announced their big multi-game Ubisoft Forward is set for September 10, at 12 PM PT. According to Ubisoft, viewers should expect “reveal updates and news on multiple games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world”. The company plans to share more once we get closer to the event as no franchise was mentioned to make an appearance during the event, but it’s likely we’ll see Mario + Rabbits: Spark of Hope get some spotlight as they recently announced the game’s October 20 launch date
