The Silent Hill 2 Remake is Releasing on October 8, Will Be a PS5 Console Exclusive for One Year
The Silent Hill 2 remake is set to launch on October 8 as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for a year. The survival horror game will also be available on PC next month.
The new trailer for the game is more of a trailer of the DualSense controller’s various features, selling the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, unique features of the PS5 controller. At the end of the new trailer, it confirms the game’s console exclusivity, pointing out that the game will “not be available on other formats until October 8, 2025.”. Sorry, Xbox.
Silent Hill 2 is a beloved survival horror title by the Silent Hill community and survivor horror enthusiasts and its initial reveal of the remake’s gameplay has shown concerns that the quality is questionable. The first trailer didn’t do the game any favors, but as we see more of the game in action, it’s slowly winning over players we could just have a respectable remake coming our way in October.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a technical wonder on Nintendo Switch 2. It single-handedly raised the bar on what I thought could be possible on the system, delivering a beautifully realized, engaging, and lengthy quest in the most accessible format yet without sacrificing much on the presentation side.
