The company best known for being the developer of the famous 4v1 online horror game Dead by Daylight has acquired Red Hook Studios, the developer best known for the Darkest Dungeon series.

Red Hook Studios announced they are bringing their punishing roguelike turned-based RPG Darkest Dungeon 2 to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on July 15, 2024. The base game as well as the DLC ‘The Binding Blade’ and the Oblivion bundle - containing the base game and DLC - will be available as cross-buy across PlayStation 4 and 5.

The roguelike turn-based RPG is getting its first DLC this December. The new content is called The Binding Blade and it adds a new roaming mini-boss called the Warlord and two new playable heroes — The Crusader and the Duelist.
