Redfall is now out on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, and before you delve in to save the town of Redfall from vampires, here are a few tips I wish I had known before I started my first playthrough.

Redfall is a game that doesn’t do enough to really stand out as it’s currently failing to provide even the basics in elements that define it. It’s a jumbled mess with only a handful of appealing traits keeping it fun enough to finish the main campaign. It looks like Arkane Studios strayed too far from the light with this one and is not something I would recommend.

Arkane Studio’s upcoming vampire-filled open world FPS game Redfall is set to launch this May, which results in more information pouring out in preparation. One bit of information revealed recently is that the game will need an online connection at all times when playing the game, even in single player.

During the January 2023 Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, Arkane Studios Austin revealed that their upcoming open-world co-op FPS game Redfall will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam, Epic Game Store, and Microsoft). A gameplay deep dive video of the game was also released to give a better understanding of what to expect. 

Xbox hosted a Tokyo Game Show stream to highlight the latest titles from Xbox Game Studios and one of the big announcements during the show revealed that Arkane Studios’ Deathloop is finally coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as well as Xbox and PC Game Pass on September 20.

Bethesda have announced that they have delayed the release of Redfall and Starfield as both games will now launch in the first half of 2023.

Developer Arkane Lyon just announced that their upcoming title Deathloop will be pushed back all the way to mid 2021. They announced the delay on their official Twitter account.

Playing Prey on hard feels right. The tension is constant but the amount of resources available is enough for me to see this through. The story is intriguing but feels like it could fall flat anytime now, but that's okay. I’m loving my stay in Talos 1, and I’ll probably be here longer than expected.
