Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League reportedly Delayed to 2023

It looks like Rocksteady Studio’s latest game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed to 2023. A new report from bloomberg revealed that the title was “quietly delayed” by Warner Media.

No official announcement was made by either the developer or the publisher of the game so far, but a report from Jason Shreier mentioned that the source is from people familiar with the game’s development. The reason for the delay is due to development challenges and issues caused by the ongoing pandemic.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – where DC villains such as Harley Quinn, Boomerang, King Shark, and Deadshot, are tasked to take down main Justice League members like Superman, The Flash – has remained quiet since it’s gameplay revealed back in the start of December 2021.

Take this with a grain of salt as nothing has been made official and we’ll report more once there is more information available.  For now, take in the first gameplay trailer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League found below, in case you missed it last year.

When it does launch, it will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Rocksteady’s last game was way back in 2015 when they released Batman: Arkham Knight, the third title in the Arkham series.
