Star Ocean the Second Story R Version 1.10 Adds New Difficulty, New Character Illustrations, Raid Bosses, and More

Square Enix just updated Star Ocean the Second Story R with a series of new features and content as Version 1.10 adds a new difficulty level, new character illustrations for key characters in the main story, new obtainable gear, more Raid Bosses to challenge veteran players, and more.
Chaos Difficulty added
Chaos difficulty will be the highest difficulty as it will be considered harder than Universe. Expect higher stats for each enemy in the game, so a bit more grinding and strategy will be required for those going through the game with this difficulty.
New Raid Bosses - Ten Wise Men
Version 1.10 adds more Raid Bosses to the game as players can fight Raid Boss version of the Ten Wise Men, the antagonists you meet in the main story. Taking down these bosses will give you access to the Ten Wise Men as part of the game’s Assault Action system, which is the new support system that acts like a summon in the game.
New equipment added to Item Creation
New weapons for each party character and new armour will also be added. These new items can be obtained through Item Creation or as drops from Raid Enemies.
New NPC illustrations added
Version 1,10 features new character illustrations for Clyde, Yukihiro Kajimoto, Regis, Eleanor, Leifath, Mariana, and Allen. These new deigns make these characters align to the rest of the cast with their own new illustrations.
Illustrations for six NPCs who appear in event scenes have been added to the game. All of these character illustrations have been newly drawn by Yukihiro Kajimoto. Clyde Regis Eleanor Leifath Mariana Allen
New Character Graphics Collection and playback feature in the Ending Collection
This update also adds a Character Graphics Collection, which simply allows players to view character illustrations, as well as replay the endings you’ve unlocked so far in your save file.
More flexibility to your new playthroughs
Players looking to play the game through another playthrough will be given more freedom by choosing what will be carried over to the next playthrough, like the ability to reset levels.
Star Ocean The Second Story R is now available and is a remake of one of the best games from the Star Ocean franchise as it was an easy 4/5 when we went through the game last year.
Stellar Blade’s potential was clear, but as its ambitions expanded into something greater, it lost focus. As soon as Stellar Blade tries to bring everything together, it merges into a single figure that looks deformed and uneven. The quality is unquestionable but it wasn’t the final product I was slowly building in my head as I went through the game’s first half.
