SNK To Host a Third Open Beta Test for King of Fighters XIII: Global Match at the start of October

SNK will host a third open beta test for King of Fighters XIII: Global Match, a new version of the 2010 fighting game with rollback netcode and an overhauled online system.
The third open beta will go live on October 3 at 10 PM ET and will run until October 9, 10 PM ET.
The open beta for King of Fighters XIII: Global Match will contain these game modes:
Practice mode (only during online standby)
Network mode (including ranked match)
Option mode (game settings)
Customization mode
Players interested in checking out the open beta will simply need to download the game through the PlayStation Store. If you participated in previous betas and still have it installed, you can use the same application you download once a patch is released for the open beta.
Aside from the rollback netcode and better online functionality, nothing much will change in gameplay overall, so expect the same gameplay (or meta) in this new version.
This new version of King of Fighters XIII was first announced during Evo Japan 2023 and will launch on PlayStation 4 and on the Switch on November 16.
Stellar Blade’s potential was clear, but as its ambitions expanded into something greater, it lost focus. As soon as Stellar Blade tries to bring everything together, it merges into a single figure that looks deformed and uneven. The quality is unquestionable but it wasn’t the final product I was slowly building in my head as I went through the game’s first half.
