Sega Announced Sonic X Shadow Generations, Set for Fall 2024

During PlayStation’s first State of Play broadcast for 2024, Sega announced Sonic X Shadow Generations, a new package that contains 2D and 3D Sonic levels from Sonic Generations that are remastered and expanded for multiple platforms. It also comes with a new standalone Shadow campaign.

According to Sega, the Sonic Generations part of the package is new-and-improved, with new gameplay elements, better visuals, and quality-of-life updates

For those unaware about Sonic Generations, Sonic teams up with his past self to restore the world to its natural state as one version of Sonic goes through nostalgic 2D side-scrolling stages while the other goes through 3D stages.

Sonic X Shadow Generations will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’s set to release sometime Fall 2024.
