Sega Announced a Free Monster Hunter Collaboration DLC for Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Froniters Monster Hunter free DLC

Sonic Frontiers is set to launch next month as SEGA announced that a free Monster Hunter Collaboration DLC is coming to the game on November 14, a week after it releases.

The free Monster Hunter DLC is simply Sonic wearing a Rathalos Armor set and a Felyne Rathalos armor set. To complete the full Monster Hunter feel, the DLC comes with a BBQ split, which apparently features a power up for Sonic if you cook the meat just right.

This isn’t the first pack of free DLC for Sonic Frontiers. In Japan, players can earn a vtuber DLC by preorder the game. The DLC rewards players with unique cosmetics inspired by the hugely popular vtuber Inugami Korone. Players can also get a pair of new shoes for Sonic based on the pair found in Sonic Adventure 2 by simply signing up on the game’s newsletter.

Sonic Frontiers is the next entry in the beloved Sonic franchise and will be the first time the series is going open world. The game will be available on November 8, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
