Rainbow Six Extraction coming on January 20 with a reduced price

The 3-man co-op shooter Rainbow Six Extraction is now coming on January 20, 2022 at $40 / PHP 1,500 and will feature buddy passes allowing you to invite friends to play the game with you for up to 14 days.

Each copy of Extraction comes with two Buddy Pass tokens, giving you a chance at bringing in at least two friends to complete your 3-man team. There’s even a trial version of the game, so Ubisoft really wants to give you no reason to play the game. Any progress made within the 14 days by your friends or in the trial period will carry over if you decide to pick up the game yourself.

The game will feature four difficulty settings, 12 maps across four dynamic regions, 60 weapons, 15 new REACT tech for the co-op shooter, and gadgets from Rainbow Six Siege.

A reduce price, the buddy token pass, Ubisoft is making the game as accessible as possible the moment it launches. Rainbow Six Siege players that get Extraction will get a bonus as they will receive the United Front Bundle, which contains four exclusive gearsets for both games. The game will launch with 18 operators, all taken from Rainbow Six Siege’s current roster.

For those unfamiliar with Rainbow Six Extraction, it’s a 3-player co-op game where they play Siege operators facing an alien race called the Archean. You’ll be going through various missions and if things go wrong and a player doesn’t make it, the operator he/she played will be unavailable unless you save them in another mission.

Rainbow Six Extraction has gone through various changes since it was announced back in 2019. It when through a rebranding and was delayed due to the challenges of the covid 19 pandemic

Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game will feature both cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression at launch.
