PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Update for January 2023 Revealed

PlayStation have revealed what is coming to the PlayStation Plus Game and Classic Catalogs in January 2023. These new games will be available to download for subscribers in their respective tiers starting January 17.

This month, the Game Catalog will be updated with nine games while the Classic Catalog will have three titles coming from the PlayStation One library.

Here’s the full list below. 

Game Catalog (Extra and Premium)

PlayStation 5

  • Back 4 Blood

  • Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition

PlayStation 4 and 5

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ

  • Life is Strange: Before the Storm

  • Life is Strange

  • Jett: The Far Shore

  • Just Cause 4: Reloaded

  • Omno

  • Erica

Classics Catalog (Premium)

  • Syphon Filter 3 (PS1)

  • Star Wars Demolition (PS1)

  • Hot Shots Golf 2 (PS1)

Notable titles in this list will have to be Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition as that version simply makes the action game even better with new content as you get to play Vergil himself as he’s complete with his own set of abilities. 

Back 4 Blood is also a nice pick to play with friends as the 4-player co-op shooter launched for cross-play, allowing you to play with friends that have the game on other platforms. You also have some story-driven games with two Life is Strange titles. Or, if you’re feeling a bit crazy and want pure chaos, you can take Dragon Ball FighterZ and Just Cause 4: Reloaded for a spin as they are two great games in their own right.

In case you missed it, the Monthly Games for January 2023 has been available for download for all PlayStation Plus members since last week. Players can pick up Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76 from now until February 6.
