NBA 2K20 will finally feature all 12 WNBA teams when it launches on September 6, 2019.
It’s a first for the series, which has been available for basketball fans and is considered the go-to basketball title for the past 18 years.
The WNBA will be available in Play Now and the game’s season modes. To bring unique movement from players like Breanna Stewart or Candance Parker, 2K Games gave them the motion capture treatment, adding in thousands of new animations to the game.
“Growing up, I always remembered watching male athletes on TV and playing as them in video games. Now, to have the WNBA be in the position we are and to have women featured prominently in NBA 2K20, we are allowing young girls and boys to have female athletes as role models,” said Candace Parker, Los Angeles Sparks forward in a press release provided by 2K.
It’s great to see the WNBA finally featured in NBA 2k and we don’t have to wait long to try out the new teams as NBA 2k20 will release worldwide on September 6, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
In the Philippines, it will set you back PHP 3,190 on the PS4 while the Legend edition is priced at PHP 5,390.
