Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-orders Begins on June 25

Rockstar Games announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, arguably the most anticipated game of 2026, will go live on June 25, 2026.

It's as simple as that, but I consider this the start of Rockstar's marketing push as we lead up to the game's official release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Rockstar also released the official cover art for the game, which you can see above.

Expect more on the game in the coming months, or actually weeks as people are now reporting a trailer is set to hit sometime next week. Despite being the most anticipated title since its reveal, both developer and publisher have barely said a word about it beyond the two trailers released so far. But that's starting to change.

For those somehow not familiar that it’s actually coming out, Grand Theft Auto VI returns to Vice City. Here's a quick synopsis from the official website:

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

People already know how massive this game will be as there are no other major game releasing this November alongside it, and for good reason.
