Front Mission 2 Remake coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on April 30

Developer Storm Trident and publisher Forever Entertainment are bringing the remake of Front Mission 2 to other consoles and PC storefronts such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on April 30.

The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering a severe economic decline due to 2nd Huffman Conflict, which created widespread discontent among citizens.

Twelve years after the events of Front Mission 1st, on 12 June 2102, coup d’etat led by Ven Mackarge began. On this exact day, three main military bases and the parliament in the country’s capital city were attacked and taken over. The O.C.U. responded to the attacks by sending their army to free Alordesh from rebel hands.

Follow the O.C.U. military squads “Muddy Otters,” “Dull Stags,” and “O.C.U. Ground Defense Force Intelligence Agency” and monitor the situation in this country torn apart by a ruthless civil war.

The original Front Mission 2 game was released back in 1997 and was then remade and released in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. This will be the first time Front Mission 2 will be widely available in various regions as the original title only launched in Japan.

Front Mission 1st, the remake of the first game of the Front Mission series, is also available on various platforms, releasing first on the Nintendo Switch in 2022 but was later released on different platforms, similar to what’s happening with the Front Mission 2 remake.
