Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies Team Revealed
/Activision and Treyarch are set to share more about the fan-favorite Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, beginning with the reveal of its expanded cast of characters.
Zombies has grown far beyond a simple mode where players mow down endless waves of the undead. Its lore has become complex and deeply interconnected, and it looks like Black Ops 7 will continue that trend as eight characters are once again pulled into the Dark Aether.
Call of Duty blog has a lengthy post detailing each character revealed.
The biggest surprise from the reveal is the return of the original Zombies crew, though seemingly as alternate versions of themselves. It’s as convoluted as ever, but that’s part of the mode’s appeal. For longtime fans, the challenge isn’t just survival, but also uncovering how to “finish” each Zombies map by completing hidden objectives and tasks during a match.
Gameplay for Zombies will likely feel familiar to veterans of past titles, though we’ll get an official look at what’s new during next week’s showcase.

The core concept of Lost Soul Aside is solid, and there’s fun to be had in its combat, but it’s not something I can comfortably recommend. It’s a stylish action game that is capable of delivering high-octane encounters that would bring a smile to your face. But everything else puts too much pressure on the little good it has going for it.
