Arc Raiders 2025 Roadmap Details New Map, Enemies, and December Expedition
/Embark Studios has detailed their extraction shooters first roadmap that covers the remaining months of 2025.
It’s a short but promising breakdown that confirms more content is on the way. The major additions include:
New Map – Stella Montis
Already teased in-game as the only node currently marked Closed, this new map is set to launch sometime in November.
First Community Event
The game’s first community event also arrives in November, though Embark hasn’t specified what to expect. My guess: it’ll involve completing a shared objective as a community — something like taking down a set number of Bastions within a limited time to unlock a collective reward.
New Utility and Weapons
Self-explanatory. More tools and weapons to experiment with are always welcome.
New Arc Enemy Types
November will also introduce two new Arc types: The Matriarch and The Shredder. Not much is known about them, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they appear more frequently in the new map.
Snowfall Map Conditions in December
The game already features diverse weather effects, from violent thunderstorms to pitch-black nights and low-visibility conditions when the Harvester or Queen Arcs appear. December will add a snowy weather variant to the mix.
New Raider Deck in December
The next Raider Deck, Arc Raiders’ version of a reward system for cosmetics, items, and premium currency, arrives in December. It’s a reasonable move considering how grind-heavy the first one is.
First Expedition in December
Expeditions are Arc Raiders’ way of letting players perform an optional account reset. Instead of global server wipes, players can choose to restart their progress within a set window in exchange for exclusive rewards. It’s a clever solution that caters both to veterans seeking challenge and to casual players that isn’t ready to start over just yet.
November seems packed, which is good to see as Embark wants to hit the ground running and not lose the game’s positive momentum right now. Arc Raiders is currently killing it in both reception and player count as based on SteamDB, the extraction shooter with a premium price has made an all-time peak of over 260K players enterting its first weekend.
Arc Raiders is out now on consoles and PC.
